Difference between graphics from different brands

Hey guys ;)
i was wondering what's the difference between the gpu from different brands?
And why is it that the same brand provides the same gpu at different prices?
For example: msi provides both:
GeForce® GTX 1080 GAMING Z 8G
and
GeForce® GTX 1080 ARMOR 8G
however the first one is more expensive than the other.
Does that difference alter the overall gaming experience?

Most of the differences between brands are differences in the heatsink design and fan quality. Which can make a difference when overclocking, temps and noise. Some more notable models offer a full cover waterblock for people with an open loop water cooling system or a closed loop hybrid system.

As for those two. The Gaming Z offers a modest factory overclock. For those who want that little bit of edge but are too scared to overclock themselves.

ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte offer excellent heatsink options. I'm sure others do as well. I am just more familiar with these brands. MSI has the best utility for overclocking.

If you think you will want to replace the heatsink with a full cover waterblock in the future. Be sure to choose a card...
