So i unplugged my laptop while it was factory resetting and now it doesn't start. It has a message saying "An operating system wasn't found. Try disconnecting any drives that don't contain an operating system. Press ctrrl+alt+delete to restart."

My computer is a hp pavilion g series
pavilion g4
windows 7
Any help is much appreciated.

Did you... not read the error at all?

May have to do a clean install now that you messed it up. I highly doubt you have a backup on DVD's to restore it. Usually the store makes a separate recovery partition on the HDD. Try this: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01867418

Spam the f11 button as it's booting and it should put you into HP recovery menu.

Followed what you said and I came to the conclusion that I need a windows 7 64 bit recovery kit. Problem is, is it's $45 plus shipping. I need this for free any other suggestions??
