Hello,

My question is could this be powered by a XLR to USB? I've looked for many forums but I have gotten mixed answers. I know some dynamic XLR microphones can be powered with a XLR to USB, but at the same time I've seen that it doesn't work with others. Please help me!

Solution
Use a dedicated USB microphone if you are connecting direct via USB, but if you want to use a conventional XLR connected Mic, and get far superior sound, then you need a USB audio interface with an XLR connection for Mic input.
