I have built a custom water cooled pc only to find that when I turn it on, the motherboard does one short beep. I have no idea what is wrong and I need help. I took out the graphics card hoping that it would work, only to find that there was still the same beep. The only thing that seems to be on besides the power supply is the LEDs on the motherboard. None of the system fans work when I power it on. I know that the motherboard, power supply, fans, cpu and RAM all work so please help me with what is wrong. I am going to provide a link with photos and a list of the parts I used.

Kingston HyperX Fury

I apologize in advance that there is no graphics card in the photos

Solution
If you're not even getting a Q code or LED diagnostic light then that points to a power issue. Make sure your cables are all connected securely. Also try doing a self test on the PSU if it comes equipped with it.

The lights to the motherboard do turn on.

Specifically the diagnostic LEDS. When one flashes, it means there is a problem with that part. There is also the Q Code LED panel in the upper right corner of your screen that displays a diagnostic code that can help you figure out your errors.
