I am upgrading a friends system including getting a new case. My question is, in the old case they had a liquid cooling system setup with the radiator at the back of the case attached to a fan. Well sort of, the problem is there are no screws long enough to attach the fan with the radiator, so it was basically hanging off when I opened it up.
So my question is, can I just connect the radiator to the case directly? Or do I need to have that fan blow on the radiator so it works properly? The processor is a AMD FX 8 core 3.5Ghz. with a M5A99FX PRO R2.0 motherboard.
And yes Im new to this liquid cooling stuff, so if this is a dumb question my apologizes.
