iGPU(HD 530) VS GPU(GT730 DDR5)

Hi Guys! I just want to ask if it is ok/smart to buy a gt 730 DDR5 or just use my iGPU (HD 530) for the mean time? If iGPU will my cpu get stress and damage? I have i5 6500 and I want to buy better graphics card in the future (december i think) maybe GTX 1060 6GB.

if your choice is to buy a GT 730 or use the HD 530 until you get a gaming video card, I would say save you monies
simple because the HD530 is actually a better video card than the GT 730 in the end, both are non gaming cards.

out your money away and save to get a true video card, until then use the HD530, and no it will not overheat or what not, its integrated inside your CPU.
just give it some ram head space in your Bios setting for the IGPU

your IGP can handle any general use and light gaming, but if you put 730 with 6500, that was not a good idea. Try to get a better card, 730 is not a good card, rather than a mid-end budget card. An IGP won't Hurt any CPU or ANYTHING else, unlike an Onboard Graphics chip, IGP is embedded on a CPU itself.

My Advise; save your money for a better card, a 6500 deserves better than 730 In My Opinion, a decent GPU like a R9 380 or GTX 970 and budget-alternative RX 460 is not a bad choice even for nowadays gaming. But you can always use IGP anytime, a GTX 1060 also a good choice. Use your IGP for a while, when saving your money for a better video card on the market.
