Blue dots on PC!Help please!

Making a second thread since nobody replied on the 1s one.When about 40 mins on my pc my screen displays blue dots,sound goes and it freezes.Months ago my gpu suffered from high temps,like 100 degrees.It woukd shut down when playing.Now i cant play.This happens if im watching vids or anything else.


DELL XPS 420:
Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT
Intel i2 core quad 2.40ghz 2.39ghz
4 GB RAM(3.25 usable)
Win 7 32 bit

Are you using the old gpu you've mentioned, or this is a new cards ?

If yes then maybe there are some problems on your GPU cards, could be an artefact.
Try to pick a newer cards, not to worry, Core 2 Quad is a good old cpu, some of today's brand new card wont suffer hard from bottlenecking.

For example, I have a couple of Core 2 Quads lying around that run fine with AMD HD 7850 or R9 380!

Well, nope. I mean newer card in the same tier as GTX 750ti or even R7 360 should work fine.
