setting 1 500gb ssd working drive (not raid) 2 2tb hdd's storage raid 1

hi
im a first time poster a newbie to pc building so please go easy on me

i have searched for posts relating to my problem but cant find anything thats specific hence me being here
i have a 500gb ssd and 2tb hdd asrock H170m-itx lga 1151 mb
ive been trying to set them up as ssd working drive(not raid) hdds storage (raid 1)
i have tried asrock raid instructions but just cannot make it work windows, 10 wont install
i think i really really need to start again from scratch (reset everything mabey?) with some guidance at basic level any help would be really appreciated

hold up, are you trying to use raid with 1 hdd only? that won't work, it needs 2 similar drive. for installing windows if im not wrong you need a burn optical drive/bootable flash drive, or attach windows 10 iso image using virtual machine if you already have a windows 7/8 installed, for full instruction just get some guide from youtube or asking microsoft itself with live chat for most accurate info. correct me if im wrong

Thanks for replying Its a new build i wanted to have 1 ssd (not in raid) for quick access for working on images (photoshop) and two additional hdd drives configured in raid 1 for storing finished images. Is this possible? I can set the hdd drives to raid 1 in bios but am struggling to install windows

i guess you better get another guide from other source, it should be easier rather than getting info from motherboard manufacturer itself, by the way, can you tell me what thing are you using to install windows? is it burn dvd drive? or bootable usb? or another way?
