I have a good PC and I can play most games smoothly with no preblems, but I am thinking of upgrading soon. This is what I have
i7 4770K
GeFroce GTX 760 192 bit
Asus Z87 motherboard
16 gb DDR3 ram
128 gb ssd
1 tb hdd
Liquid cooling (not quite sure which one since it is a prebuilt PC

I am thinking of upgrading to something like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3ZyN9W
I am going to wait until the upcoming Ryzen and Vega series is realesed because I dont want to buy something and then the next day a new cpu/gpu comes out xD

So do you think I should upgrade, or stick with my PC for a bit longer?

PS: the keybourd/mouse/monitors I already have so please don't take them in consideration.

from your current pc i would upgrde the gpu, tht is a bit weak for that cpu, a 1060 or 1070 should be a match for it

the new build you mention looks nice, i would buy a toshiba, hitachi or western digital, not seagate

about ryzen, the same but a 1700x and the corresponding motherboard would be perfect match for the i7 you listed there

Why do you want to upgrade a unlocked 4th gen i7? It is still much powerful than you need. Also you can overclock your cpu. You dont need any cpu upgrade.

But you can buy a new gpu. GTX1070 is very good for 4k and RX480 for 1080p. Also you can wait for Vega series, its about one more month.
