Hi I am just building a new computer and I have an intel i-7 7700k processor and a Z170 pro gaming m5 motherboard everything powers on and lights up but when I plugged in the hdmi its just black and says no cable connected i tried different monitors and HDMI cords nothing changed. I pulled out the battery to try an reset the bios that didnt help and from what i have read so far I believe I need a bios update. Problem is that I put the update onto the usb drive and plugged it into the computer however I dont know how to make it run the update. Also the motherboard is giving me error 62 which i believe is asking for a bios update.

You might need an older cpu to update the bios to support the new one. Do you have access to an older CPU that fits the same slot? Use that to update the BIOS and then your new CPU ought to work.

Theoretically, Yes. Just make sure that it has the same socket and is supported by the existing bios.
