I am currently on my second build, and experiencing Q Code 62 on boot of the motherboard every time, I have the model 3270 so flashing the bios is not the answer unfortunately.

I5 7600k
Hero maximus viii alpha motherboard
16gb corsair ddr4 ram
And a 750 watt power supply.

Any suggestions on what to try, or what I need to send back if something is faulty.

(the vga led on the side of the board is lit and stays lit whenever I boot whether I have my 1070 in or not)

Whats model 3270?? If thats the BIOS, there is no BIOS 3270. The latest is 3201

If this is the Rog Maximus VIII Hero Alpha

The mobo needs BIOS 3101 to support that CPU

Look at the sticker on the mobo, what are the last 4 numbers?

Okay so the last numbers are 1902, assuming I have to flash which I have tried already, I cannot seem to get it to work.

The bios button flashes for a few seconds then stops, am I doing anything wrong? Thanks for the help.
