Im currently looking for a new gpu, I have an fx 4300 and I will have a evga 650 Watt supernova g1 powersupply, I currently have an amd radeon hd 7670. I want to know what the best card for me would be, I run at 1440x 900 resolution and am not looking for a new monitor anytime soon.
Also if anyone has any cards they are giving away, id like to know.
Thanks

For 900p I think the 470/480/1060 are too much. I'd go with an RX 460 2gb if money is tight, or the 1050 Ti if you like the idea of a 4gb card and top notch 900p performance. I don't see any mention of motherboard type, if the bios isn't UEFI then I'd stick to AMD.

Those are new cards. If you go used you have more options, that card you have now is barely a low, low end gaming card. So almost anything is a massive upgrade. Get yourself a DDR5 2gb 128 bit memory bus card and you'll be happy. With that power supply you can run anything, an HD 7970 used shouldn't cost that much these days. That would be superior to a 460.

Way too far if money means anything to you. The 480 would have to be at the same price as the 460 to make one even consider it. Like for instance buying the 480 to put in a faster build in the future. Remember, your PCIex16 slot is only 4 lanes electrically. That cuts down the throughput by a power of 4.
