Regarding the mobo, does the model is reliable for future proof in handling next gen cpu?

Does the mobo has the core unlocking capability because i cant find any information about it?

Lastly, any general problem about this mobo?

Yes, AM4 is the next platform (launching in a few days).

The R2 version is just slightly updated, I dont know the exact specifics, but its worth getting over the R1. That being said, I would not buy AM3+

Does the r2 has the core unlocker?

Coz i cant any bout the feature.. do you think fx cpu will come to an end?

Actually i am looking an upgrade for the next 2-3years max.. i am a student and will graduate end of next year.. after getting a job i dont mind buying a complete new rig..

I got two option rite whether to buy that mobo and hoping to unlock the 4th core with my phenom 555 or phenom 960t which is abit cheaper and 4 core..

I just want a quad core rig as nowadays everything is about the quad core.. i am not a hardcore gamer.. just a casual gamer who play twice a week in games like gw2,eso,dota.. personally i am mmo fan who eager to try a new mmo in the future..

Any suggestion can you advice? Phenom 960t or asus m2a99x mobo?
