Ive recently bought the AMD FX-4300, a GTX 1060 3GB gpu, and a GA-970A-UD3P motherboard (Im aware of the bottleneck, will be switching to a fx 8350 eventually). Anyways, are these (https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/d48Lqk) parts all compatible together? I know the site says it is, but I just want to double check on here. Also, is the PSU the best choice with my build, and is the case that's in the build going to fit everything that I showed in the part list? Also, since I'm still new to this kind of stuff, will any optical drive fit in this case? Lastly, if there are any other better options for parts (other than the cpu, gpu, or motherboard) can you link me it, thanks

Socket type on your cpu says it's am3+ https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B009O7YU3S/?tag=pcp0f-20 and your mb says am3+ aswell https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/Vrdqqs/gigabyte-motherboard-ga970aud3p so yes they will work together

Just saying I would stay away from these old amd cpu's they are not very good, and that bottleneck is insane. I would stick with intel for better performance and longevity. Or if you REALLY want to stay with amd they just announced their Ryzen lineup supposed to compete with intel's flagship cpu's for half the pricing.

Your power supply should be fine. aswell but it's 80+ WHITE certified aka below silver bronze gold and plat, perhaps that wouldn't be wise I would recommend getting at least a bronze certified psu.

Aside from what I mentioned above your ram looks good, case looks good and hard drive is fine as well.
