looking for value and speed don't think a sshd is needed just a good fast 1tb drive if there are any recommendations on a speedy drive would be great that has decent reliability speed and value being first on the list, yes my other thread is accurate but I knowe very little about sed not sure if I need one or more of somthin to learn about. speed always first important though but on a budget as I already have a m.2. was looking at Seagate drives use to go all western digital but have read they may have a high failure rate these days, did wonder about the black edition however to pricey and most the stuff is most likely marketing however was kinda cool about that Corruption Protection Technology however don't think theyd be worth the extra cost

well hears another question, you know the piece on the back where the sata cable and sata power cable plug into? theres a broken piece where the sata power plugs into is a little piece of plastic in that L-shape the conector plugs into that little piece going downwards on that L is the only piece broken on the old one. the drive works fine that I'm fairly sure of. can I somehow replace that tiny piece maybe that whole module or get repaired somehow any suggestions? could be a cheaper fix
