Using an ASUS STRIX R9 390 on a MSI Gaming 5 Motherboard.
As I was installing the most recent driver update the temperature in MSI Afterburner dropped to 0, and after a reboot, the option was entirely unavailable. My computer got stuck in a crashing loop until I booted into safe mode to uninstall Afterburner. Everything would begin to go pixelated and then the computed would freeze or blackscreen. I tried nzxt's CAM, and it did tell me my temps, but I cannot change the fan curve without the same crash as before. I have tried previous versions of Afterburner and the AMD drivers, but nothing seems to work. This is what Afterburner looks like now:
