I had just taken a backup of my files on Seagte Slim BUP 1TB. After that I formatted my laptop after disconnecting the hard disk, but since then the hard disk is not accessible.
It is promptly detected as a device, can be seen on devmgmt and on dskmgmt,msc as "not initialized".
Every time I open the dskmgmt.msc it asks me to select MBR or GPT partitioning style to initialize the disk. It has not fallen or had any other physical damage.
I can also see all the properties of the disk and it shows true for "is connected".
I need the data on the disk. Please help
