Alright, I spoke with a local supplier and assuming they are not drunk I have something a little more concrete for you to go on.

The CM Liquid Pro 280 WILL need an adapter bracket to function with the vast majority of AM4 motherboards (The Asus Hero is a weird exception) including the ASrock line. Most retailers will be getting a varying supply of this bracket this week (probably the end of it) with mine stating "Very limited quantities".

The solution if you want THIS cooler (which to be fair is a fantastic item) that applied to me is to purchase the motherboard AND cooler from the same retailer and specify that you need the AM4 bracket included. This will vary by retailer of course so I advise you pop them a mail making sure they do...

Information is all over the place atm and very little is concrete. CM AM4 READY splash page says the "Pro series" will have a bracket, however the specifications page for all of the pro series, especially the 280 (which I am also rather keen on) lists AM4 as already supported, with no mention of anything else.

PC Part Picker and plenty of retailers (Just google "MLY-D28M-A22MB-R1" "AM4" to see for yourself) ALSO list it as "AM4".

I've tried lodging a support query directly with CM and one of my local retailers for more information, but so far.......silence. I am personally hoping it is already compatible (as I've no idea about the logistics of getting an adapter bracket shipped to me in...well....Africa) but the jury seems to be.......confused at the moment. Have you tried asking any of your retailers? or CM yourself?

Otherwise if you live in Europe CM will just mail you one for free once they update their online store. They currently list NA as coming soon however.

Hope that helped, it was a....an awful lot of support conversations for very little information, but since we're in similiar boats I thought it worth while to share my discoveries.
