Overclocking only 4 cores out of my FX 6300, a good idea?

I'm only using 4 cores out of the 6 from my FX 6300. It seems its loading times get better with only 4 cores somehow.
Now I want to know if it's a good idea to overclock these 4 cores only. Could anything go wrong?

I would just overclock all 6. loading times depend mostly on your hard drive / SSD. but you could do 4 if you felt like it... Those 4 cores would degrade at a different rate as the other 2 because there not in use.
