Graphics Card upgrade on an AMD A8-6500

So I bought a Desktop a few months back and I use it for gaming and I want to know how I can maximize the use of the computer and such if I should overclock it or something or if I should just buy a graphics card and if I should what would be the perfect one for this cup? Im new to computers so please forgive me.

SPECS
-AMD A8-6500 Quad-core 3.5Ghz APU
-Windows 8.1 64 bit
-16 gb DDR3 Memory
-Radeon R7 250 2gb Video Card

So first off, your going to want to upgrade the power supply to a 500+ watt. Anything over 500 or at 500 should be great. Than if your looking for a budget orientated graphics card go with a GTX 1060 or a MSI Gaming RX 480. The 1060 will get you the same results as a RX 480 however the RX480 does perform a bit better. The best resolution to play on these cards is probably 1080x1920. There both around $200 USD! Hope it helps.

The MOBO is an ASUS A68HM-PLUS (FM2+) and the PSU is a Power Man 350W
