Is a 4 core 8 thread cpu going to be enough for gaming and streaming at 720p 60fps in 2018?

I mean AAA games like battlefield 1 and and the witcher 3? If you had to make a prediction?

for 720p, and that too for streaming, u would require all the eye candies for the likes. so a gtx 1070 minimum for games till 2018. a 7600k should fit the bill. dunno about the ryzen 5....

I was planning an rx 470 till may of next year and then i was gonna upgrade to a 1080 ti or whatever is the highest at that point in time

witcher 3 itself will boggle down power if u r playing n streaming. so a 7600k minimum. and for close to 60 fps till next year, a fury is wat i did go https://pcpartpicker.com/product/M2mxFT/sapphire-video-card-112470340g

I've changed my mind i'm gonna get a 6 core 12 thread cpu and a gtx 1050 and then upgrade in december because then i can give my 1050 to my friend who currently has a 550 ti so he really needs the upgrade
