Hey guys..!!! I want to ask u about ryzen. I wanted to buy ryzen r5 series processor which i thought would launch along with the r7 series. R5 features were so exciting that i sold my laptop and started plannings for a gaming pc with r5 processor. Now i am left without nothing. Do u guys think that i should buy an i5 now or should i wait for r5 launch(whose launch date is q2 of 2017)?? Main problem is that i dont have a PC right now. (R7 or i7 are out of budget unless miraculously start selling at 250 $ mrp). Plz help guys
I dont plan to overclock if it's relevant with my problem.
P.s. i wanted to buy R5 1500.

I'd wait a few days for Ryzen reviews. If cores can be disabled in UEFI, there may some reviewers that do this to simulate an R5. If you can't wait for the R5, the i5s are still great choices. Unless upcoming games are heavily utilizing more than 4 cores, both Kaby Lake and Ryzen should be close to eachother in gaming provides leaks are accurate. On a side note, I have an i5 7600k myself on order for my HTPC/Lighter gaming rig.
