Hello guys. My pc started to do some weird things today like Steam keeps redownloading updates, when trying to format my pc it says an error has happened, random bsods (memory_management, and lots of others) when trying to copy a file shows bsod, sfc scannow doesnt work even though the service is working, random bsods again when scanning with malwarebytes. And just random freezing when gaming (it just stops) Is it ram or is it my hdd? What can i do?

Solution

Yep, definitely the RAM. Almost all of the errors come from places that use the RAM often. The PSU you have is dying, replace it if possible. If the sound happens, record it and send it to me.

Please download bluesreenview http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html and post a screencapture if possible. This will help me find what is causing it (Hopefully)
Also, grab CPU-Z and use it to test your computer along with checking everything's temps.

These can help you guys figure out exactly what's wrong.

PSU failures tend to have random bursts of errors and things like that and nomally display no pattern.
Memory (RAM) failures normally have just Memory_Management BSODs along with Irql_Not_Less_Or_Equal BSODs.

I think it's either the RAM, a overheating CPU, or bad RAM, but we can't be sure until I get those screenshots.

Grinding noises? Oh, boy. Capture an audio/video recording and send it over. That normally spells "death" for a PSU.

I can't see everything there. Maximize the page and send another screenshot.

I highly dobut it's the motherboard's fault. One thing you can do though is switching out the ram sticks from Slots 1 &3 to 2 & 4 and see which ones cause the most issues when you run a test.
