You'd do much better with my quadcores i5 + RX480 build.
The XFX XT as I recalled wasn't manufactured by Seasonic as most of XFX line-up are, but from their lower-end Hydence factory.
8GB RX480 doesn't provide as good price-to-performance as 4GB ones especially when you aren't going to be able to CrossFire them.
The Fractal Design Core 1100 is just not very good if you want to use powerful graphic card with it.
Supports Graphics cards up to 350mm in length may be installed. One or more 3.5" hard drives may interfere with side-mounted power connectors on graphics cards longer than 170 mm
...
CPU coolers up to 148 mm in height
...
Front: 1 - 120mm fans (included is 1 Fractal Design silent 120mm fan, 1200 RPM speed)
Rear: 1 - 92mm fan (not included)
Side: 1 -120mm fan (not included)
Versus the CiT F3:
Up to 4 x 120mm fan, (2 x LED fans inc)
...
Max. VGA Card (Length) - 315mm
Max. CPU Cooler (Height) - 160mm
And its 3.5" HDD bay will not interfere with long GPU like the Core 1100.
Few things I'd like to note due to some changes in availability and pricing since my last post:
Swap the MB to the
Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H (£67.85) because the MSI B250M-VDH has unfortunately been sold out since (and is more expensive than the DS3H where it's still available)...
The ASUS RX 480 4GB is back ordered at Amazon and will be back by March 9th. The
MSI RX 480 4GB Armor OC is available at the same price if you want to get the build now.
Get the bigger 550W CXM (~£10 more than the 450W ver) if possible; purely so that you don't have to think about whether your PSU would provide enough power or connectors for any upgrades possible with the build.
