help which motherboard to choose for i5 6600k

i need some help choosing a motherboard fr the i5 6600k and i do plan on overclocking i was looking at gigabyte z170 gaming 7 and the gaming 5 that too from gigabyte which one would be better?

both of those are good boards

anything from gigabyte,asus,msi and even asrock is usually a safe bet

though asrock their software isnt as good as the others in my opinion

but nothing wrong with their hardware going by my last motherboard which was my first asrock board

its got a few its a refresh of z170 basically--probably not worth upgrading from z170 but if building new then yes go z270

more pci-e lanes for one thing

intel optane support--which may be useful once we get to see what they can do with that

forgot what else id different though more boards will have 2 x m2 slots as well

and prices will depend where you are obviously

a lot of uk retailers dont even sell z170 boards now even though they arent that old really

well i live in india and the prices like never goes down no matter what, i kinda like the aesthetics of the z170 gaming 7 i looked at some z270 boards the price difference is about 75 $ if there isnt anything wrong with the z170 which one would you recommend besides what i have chosen?
