I have a i5-2400 with 8gb Ram installed, a GTX 950 GPU and EVGA 600B PSU. I also purchased an LG IPS 32" 1920x1080p monitor. I installed the DH67BL MOBO and after trying to update the BIOS, come to find out that Intel doesn't even support this any longer. They only have updates for Win 7 x64. Do I just need to get a different MOBO with a newer chipset that has an LGA1155 socket? Just having issues run some of my older games like Tiger Woods 08 and Madden 08 and would like to record gameplay on my 1080p monitor.
Help!

Solution
Your monitor is good but the issue is with motherboard using Windows 10. I'm just saying that monitor is not os specific but it can take on Windows 10 perfectly.
However drivers can be downloaded for gpu, motherboard, monitor (if available ) separately from their respective websites.

As far as your configuration is concerned everything is more than fine
Your motherboard and cpu is well compatible but you just check your video memory under graphics tab in the window which will appear when you type 'dxdiag' in run or in start menu search bar.

If it says more than 256MB then you may have other problems like outdated OS vga drivers or incorrectly adjusted monitor resolution etc.,

You can see the requirements for tiger woods game here below

http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=2078&game=Tiger%20Woods%20PGA%20Tour%2008

Btw what type of issues you are encountering actually...?

I upgraded my system to an LG IPS 1920x1080p monitor but the recordings are worse than what my old 1600x900 screen would produce. I downloaded and installed the newest driver for the monitor direct from LG, which is controlled via HDMI cable. I find no graphics tab on the dxdiag screen only the following: system, display1, display2, sound1, 2,3 and 4 finished off with Input.

However inside the Nvidia control panel it says the following:
Total available graphics memory .........6128 MB
Dedicated video memory.....................2048 MB GDDR5
System video memory.........................0 MB
Shared system memory.......................4080 MB
I have no clue where to go from here? Help!!

I have win10 x64 and these drivers are not for that OS. Will they still work?
Edit #1: Do I reconnect my GPU after the correct drivers are installed?

Edit #2: I just tried to run the graphics update as suggested and it says that I have newer drivers on my system. I then ran the Intel Driver Update Utility and it says there are no drivers available for my product? What is running my graphics then? I would only assume that this is all due to me having win 10 as an OS? Do I need to go back to win 7 with this setup?

Check the supported operating system for your motherboard on the link below under "discontinued motherboard" drop-down menu. You'll find that there is no windows 10 mentioned there it means your motherboard won't run windows 10 as it should.

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/desktop-boards/000005640.html

So the problem you are facing with games is due to this incompatibility of Windows 10.

The older drivers or may be in-built windows 10 drivers are running your gpu.

To move from Windows 10 to Windows 7 depends on your craving for those games. If you switch from windows 10 to 7 maybe your pc performance increase and you can play your respective games. But I suggest you should jump back to Windows 7 since using a OS for which your motherboard is not built is not a good decision also for a safer usage of your pc components.

I would imagine that the gpu and maybe other components will need to have the correct drivers as well? Do you know if the monitor is OS specific as well? LG 32MP58HQ-P From what the LG website says if it doesn't use the specific driver for the monitor in question that your OS will use the Generic PnP driver, which they say will work fine. What are your thoughts?

Thank you so much for your insights! This has helped tremendously. I would choose the entire thread as the solution, but I don't see that as an option. :)

Since I am going to downgrade to Win7 ( I have ultimate already) and I have my user files on another drive to save space on my 240GB SSD, what is the best way to install Win7 and save all my user files? Is there a tutorial somewhere for that?

Installed Win7 on my system and the on-board 3.0 USB ports do not work. I have a 5 port add-on card in the back and 7 port in the front in one of the CD player bays and they work fine. Any ideas why that the on-board 3.0 USB ports do not work?
