What to upgrade first?

I'm looking to upgrade so that I can play H1Z1:KOTK better, or be able to hopefully run Playerunkown's Batlegrounds. I also play Rust, Rocket league, and CS:GO.
My specs are:
GPU: GTX 750,
CPU: AMD X4 860K
Main: ASRock FM2A88M Pro 3+
I haven't got much of an idea on how computers work as this computer was built for me as a gift. Thanks

well in all honesty spending $300 on a GPU right now isn't exactly the best use of funds for your particular setup. unless you want to plan on getting a mid range GPU now, and then getting a new platform/CPU later. not a bad idea. but in my personal opinion, i would just wait and see how the CPU landscape (and GPU landscape, for that matter) turns out in the next few months and then plan to get the new MB/CPU then. i, personally, would go for a new CPU and motherboard but that's just me, if i were you. if you HAVE to get something NOW to get H1Z1 running how you like it (which probably won't happen with just a new GPU) id lean towards something like the RX 470 or gtx 1050ti like i mentioned earlier.

still, this exact moment is not the...
You have pretty good hardware balance in your current machine. Each of your components are a pretty good match for each other, just not very powerful. I recommend a complete rebuild.

AMD Ryzen 7 (formerly Zen codenamed Summit Ridge, competes with Intel i7) is currently dethroning FX as the king of AMD. Let's wait for the release of Ryzen 5 (competes with i5) and Ryzen 3 (competes with i3) before we suggest a CPU from Intel that might be outdone at a cheaper price by a Ryzen chip.

As for the graphics card, what's your budget?

You don't have much knowledge of computers... Well do you have two hands and a brain? You do! Well then you can build a computer.

It's actually very simple. Advancements in the user friendliness of technology coupled by the adoption of modern standards means that building a computer is about as hard as working with LEGOs. Everything is literally designed to fit together without issue. There's even a website that will check prices across the web and check for compatibility for you. http://www.pcpartpicker.com

It used to be complicated, but that's all changed now.
1) Your CPU comes with a heat-spreader on it. You don't have to worry about damaging the die just because you mounted the cooler incorrectly.
2) You can put your RAM into slots on the motherboard and it works! No electrical knowledge or soldering equipment necessary!
3) You can just plug your hard drives into power and SATA on the motherboard and it just works. No messing with jumpers or entering drive specs into BIOS required!
4) Finally, and this is a big one for me, power supplies have standard connectors. I hated the old days when I had to make power adapters just because connector standards weren't widely accepted by manufacturers yet.

Haha see the thing is I would but I don't have the money for it. I'm just looking for a part to upgrade alone.
I looked up the Ryzen CPU and can't exactly find a release date. Any ideas? I'm generally looking for under $300 max price, hopefully under 250.
Edit: Ryzen 5 1600x looks nice, release date?

Release date is not yet confirmed. All I can tell you is that it'll be here in Q2 (April, May or June at the latest).

still, this exact moment is not the greatest time to be buying new hardware because we could see some real nice price drops and some real nice new options in the near future.

Thanks! I'd pick both of you as solutions but I can't. I'll wait until my birthday in April, acquire some money, and hopefully work towards a good cpu and gpu combo at around mid to high tier so I can finally play games without dropping the settings to lowest of low...
