Pin on Mobo out of place

Solution
Clear picture of an 1155 socket set. Regardless of the void in the middle the pins should be the same exact layout.

You're missing pins. Sorry to say but I really don't think you did that. I'd return that asap.

I actually see a couple of bent pins. Just throwing that out there. If you can't return it and you're up for it there are methods to restore bent pins. The board already is broken due to that so, just do some research and see.

Ok I was sgonna show u pics of it before they where broken to see the difference

guess thats why i dont sell electronic components on ebay any more

you think you touched the pins and bent them

yet you expect to get a refund or replacement?

leaving the seller out of pocket because of what you did?

what ever happened to taking the consequences of your own actions?

He may have not bent the pins. That's highly accusatory. He says he thinks he might have but some people guiltily claim they did but they may very well have not.

I've been on the other end where I've seen people get ripped off by crappy sellers.

Could u help point out the other broken ones?

hey sorry if my tone was a bit too strong but i have had stuff like that happen to me too many times on ebay

you can straighten it

just need

good eyesight or a magnifying glass--though good eyesight is best as can use both eyes then

a steady hand

very good light

something very small/fine like the smallest watch makers screwdriver or a fine needle or very fine tweezers

Ya np haha..I didn't think of a needle lol I guess I'm just so worried my tool right now is a thin flat head screwdriver which is a big. May I keep u updated if need help?

course you can

main thing is make sure you get something small enough before you even try

or you could make it worse than it is by using something too big

Ya I feel like they are meant to be too as other parts of the Mobo are empty

People sometimes recommend using something like a credit card because it's relatively soft and flexible, and if you line it up carefully you can use the other pins in the row and column as a guide. But more concerning is those possibly empty pin holes. In the before picture you can definitely make out that they used to hold pins. I think I can see one still attached. No idea on the other.

yes using something that can run along through the gap between the pins like that is how i have fixed bent pins on amd cpus

though its easier with those than with intel because the pins are on the cpu not in the socket

i used to use a stanley knife blade to run along the rows in both directions

the flat side of the blade that is not the sharp side

not sure if a credit card wouldnt be too big or too thick and probably too awkward to use in the intel socket

and your eyesight is more than likely better than mine so you might be right that the pins were there before

not sure on that myself to be honest
