İntel core i3-3210 and GTX 960 bottleneck

Bottleneck? Yes, does it matter? No.

Just because their is a bottleneck doesn't mean its going to make games unplayable. In this case a better processor can yield better fps from a GTX 960, but you should still get good FPS and a more than playable experience out of most games.

There always is a bottleneck and which component causes the worst bottleneck varies from game to game depending on how CPU-heavy and GPU-heavy it is, which makes "will there be a bottleneck" a pointless question - the answer is yes regardless of how overkill your system may be.

The real name of the game is pushing bottlenecks beyond the performance point where you don't care which component bottlenecks first/most anymore or at least can be comfortable with.

Once you get to frame rates steadily above 40fps, how much better is good enough becomes highly subjective.

On mid or even high graphical settings your system should play those no issue.

I wouldn't say yes for sure, it depends on the game.

For example if you're playing 64 player Multiplayer BF1 your CPU may run into some issues. Something lighter weight though may not be a problem.

That will vary on a game-by-game basis and what sort of game performance is acceptable to you. Basically, only you can tell if whatever you end up getting is good enough for you. If you play by someone else's standards, you may end up grossly over-paying for what you actually need.

If you go by what people write on forums, you could swear that gaming is i5-7600k, i7-7700k or bust but I'm still perfectly happy with my four years old i5-3470.
