OC Standard gtx 1060 3gb

Can I OC a standard EVGA gtx 1060 3gb, and if so will it make a noticeable difference in gameplay?

Specs are:
EVGA Gtx 1060 3gb
500 Watt PSU EVGA
Intel Core I7 4790s
12GB DDR3 Ram

You can and it would be marginal, anywhere from 5-10 fps depending on how high. Your oc amount isn't guaranteed. You'd have to tweak to see what you can get.

Use MSI Afterburner for overclocking, regardless of brand of GPU. Seems to be the most reliable. Look up an overclocking guide. Any 10 series oc guide can work for you they all do it the same way, just different numbers is all.
