Hello, recently I was gaming, and my computer shut off suddenly and didn't boot. Assuming a dead power supply, I did the paperclip test and it worked fine. Putting it back into my computer, I started to take out certain components to see if my computer would boot. I tried ram, cleared CMOS, and everything. It finally booted after removing my video card and using onboard graphics. My question is, could this mean my video card is dead? Could a dead video stop a computer from booting? My card is an EVGA GTX 970, not over clocked. Thanks.
