Hello guys, I am running an r9 280x and own 3 monitors. I want to run them all extended not in eyefininity. I have read that to do this I need an active adapter. How I am currently running my 2 monitors is one is plugged into the hdmi port and going to my monitor via hdmi. The other is going through a mini display port to hdmi adapter then hdmi up the the screen it is plugged into. I tried to plug in the third screen with the same setup as the second one, but it didnt work. Do i need active adapters for all 3 monitors and their cord? or just one?
My GPU is an XFX r9 280x Black, and has 2 DVIs (I don't know how to tell the difference between the types of DVI, sorry), 1 hdmi, and 2 mini display ports.
Any ideas?
