I recently upgraded my graphics card to the GTX 980 (got it used for $200). I started playing some games and used MSI afterburner to monitor my FPS. I was getting crappy fps and my CPU and GPU usages were very low. For example, I was playing Borderlands 2 with my brother and the CPU usage hovered around 25% and the GPU usage hovered around 45%. I have a fx-8350 and know that games use only a few cores, but the highest core usage was from core 0 and it was at about 30%. The other cores ranged from 20-8% (with most being around 8%). These low usages result in low FPS. During heavy combat I was getting about 25 FPS. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone have a potential fix?
