M.2 drive isn't being recognized

So I recently built my first pc and everything is working properly, except my m.2 drive. It's not popping up in bios or windows. I am 100 percent sure I installed it properly. Thanks for any help!

Ok, 1st up read up on your manual. some m.2 is shared between sata port. meaning if there is a drive installed on the sata port the m.2 will not work. you have to plug-in the drive to a different sata port for m.2 to work.
