Not a big fan of AMD. And i aslo don't want to buy a new motherboard. Do you think the 7600 would be a good way to go for games such as Squad, Arma 3, and Rust? I've kept my eye on this processor for a couple days now and it seems to pretty nice. And i don't care too much abou the K version as im not very experienced with overclocking cpus.

H270 Motherboard - Intel i5 7600 - Gigabyte 1050 ti 4GB - Max FPS at Extreme Settings with many units in SC2

If you using a old motherboard, make sure you upgrade the BIOS to have the Kaby Lake CPU supported.
I think you be future proof the Intel i5 7600 and 1050 ti combined lol.

Yea i remember reading that if you don't have the latest bios your pc wont do anything when you install the new kaby lake processors. I have a Z170 motherboard updated to the latest bios. I should be good right? (Sorry if i sound stupid, i just want to be very sure.)

If you upgraded to the Bios that support Kaby Lake is good...

1050 ti is kinda recent & powerful, so your choice if u want to upgrade CPU or GPU,

or you wait little longer for others to reply.

I have prebuilt dell pc. I headed over the bios update page and got the latest one for my pc just the other day and it was the only one available. So im guessing im in the clear.

I have a lack of faith in the 1050ti driving a monitor higher than 60Hz 1080p well. Also if you're on z170, you can try a little bus OCing, I think the performance difference between an i5 and an i5 versus a 1050 ti and anything RX 480/GTX 1060 and over would leave the value of the CPU in the dust.

It is kind of silly to say that after asking for opinions. If the 1050ti is capable in your opinion then why not just skip the forums and get a better cpu?

Geforce GTX 1050 ti perform almost at the best near the Geforce GTX 960 performance.
