win 7 restart during graphic driver install

Hi
My friend have Asus motherboard crossfire supported and he put geforce 750 gtx from gainward.
After A while,win 7 install update and he got reminder that windows is not original.
After that when I look in CPU-Z graphic card was working in 1.1 mode even under load.
Now,when I try to install drivers,win 7 after a minute drop box that there is an error and windows will be restarted.
Is that a graphic card fault or PCI-E slots fault because we tried both PCI-E slots.

I know about SLI and Crossfire.
we did not tryed to pair two 750's card.only one moved to second port.
on my motherboard,EVGA 750 gty SC in GPU-Z show that it is working on 2.0 PCI-E mode when run games but his card on his motherboard Gainward 750 GTX in CPU-Z show that it works in 1.1 PCI-E mode even during tests or games.
I have tryed to put Gigabyte 750 GTX OC but it show the same.1.1 if you play or not.
his motherboard is I do not know for sure full but one from P5Q series with 8 GB memory support and it have chipset heat sinks like on Deluxe version
