I have the Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP board for almost 3 years without a hitch. Yesterday after a reboot, I saw the Gigabyte logo come up as usual, but then the screen went black and I had a flashing line at the top left hand corner of the screen. Computer was not responsive so I had to shut it off.

I removed the battery from the motherboard and rebooted and I was able to get into the BIOS. I noticed the boot order was messed up so I put the correct drive in the 1st box and saved. Computer booted up fine.

Did another reboot today and the same thing happened. The boot list keeps getting messed up. Here is some info on my system:

Intel Core i5-4670K @3.4 GHZ
8 GD DDR3 memory
Bios Version Date American Megatrends Inc. F5 8/14/2013
SMBios Verison 2.7
Bios Mode Legacy
Windows 10 64 bit

Any help would be appreciated !!!!

If you remove the motherboard battery that is probably resetting the BIOS, which would explain the boot order getting reset. Don't know what is causing the original black screen though.
