Hey guys. So I'm looking for some advice on replacing some components in my computer. It was originally built in 2009' so it's pretty outdated. All I really use it for is world of warcraft and Diablo. Blizzard website suggested Amd fx6300 CPU and Amd R7. 260x GPU. I would need to get a new motherboard for those. Currently have Asus M3A78 770. Amd phenom 9750 quad core 2.4 GHz and Nvidia 650t card. So my question is which would be a good motherboard for Amd 6300 and R7 260x? Since all I use my PC for is those games my main goal is to make them run well.

Solution
Thinking something like this at least, kinda hard to fit into the budget...

If you wanna cut off more, AMD RX 460 would make it fit under 300

That can be improved quite a bit, mainly in terms of GPU. :p
I don't want you to spend too much, but if you go a touch bigger on the budget you can get significantly better performance.
