Both my monitors (AOC 23" IPS 1920x1080) have been working fine with my new graphics card (GTX 1070). My old one was a Saphire R9 280x and it worked fine on that. I went away for 2 days and when I come back I can only get 1 monitor to work DVI to DVI. when I plug in the HDMI to DVI into my second monitor both monitors go no signal. I have tested both monitors work with the DVI port but i cant get the HDMI port to work even just the 1 monitor. I have taken my graphics card out and cleaned any dust that may have been on it, although I had just cleaned my whole PC about a month ago so that shouldn't be the issue.
After this i bought a display port to female DVI to test if the HDMI port was not working. still all 3 display ports don't show any signal. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling my graphics drivers and when it was uninstalling my screen went black and i haven't been able to get back from there. When i start up my computer it lets me log in and flashes the desktop for a split second before turning black and only showing the cursor. I am currently running of my on-board graphics as I have removed the graphics card so i can use my computer.
I have tried many solutions for a similar problem that i have found on forums.
I cant continue to run of on-board as i use my computer for 3D software.
I am on windows 10.
Thanks.
