Should you delete an account on a game that you don't want anymore (On Steam)?

I have been deleting a lot of Steam games lately, but i just now thought about the accounts on those games and if i should delete my accounts before deleting the games. If i don't delete my accounts will i end up getting hacked, or can i just delete my games as i want to?

I fail to see the point. If the game requires you to make an account on their system then yes, you need to delete that account and the game from your PC. However, if you are deleting the game from your PC and will never play it again why care? If the account gets hacked you aren't playing it anymore/again so you'll never know.
