Hello everyone

Today I wanted to boot up my pc and I saw a MSI screen popping up. It was MSI click BIOS 5. I tried to exit the screen , but nothing worked. Pressing esc or the cross in the right corner would restart the system only to end up in the bios again. Yesterday my computer worked just fine and I had never had an issue with my computer since I bought it this summer. I have a SSD and a HDD and it seems like the SSD is not showing up in the bios. Is there anything I can do to fix this? It looks like my SSD is broken, but that would be very wierd since I never had any issues with it and yesterday everything worked just fine. I also checked my pc from the outside and I think every piece is sitting at it's place. I never move or touch my pc so it would be strange if a cable got detached.

Is there something I can do to solve this problem?

Thanks for taking your time reading this.

in the BIOS you can try to reset to default settings first, then save and reboot..., but to clear CMOS you either use the jumper(it will show you in the manual) or you just take out the round battery on the motherboard touch the positive and...

if it is going straight to BIOS and you didn't touch anything inside the case, that means it isn't detecting your boot devices regardless of order. reset the CMOS and see if that solves it, make sure after resetting you put your hard drive with the os in 1st boot order then save and restart. if that doesn't solve it, then your ssd is probably dead

I'm sorry to ask, but how do you reset CMOS? I've never been in the bios before and I have no idea how to do it.

Thank you for replying

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem as above. I was gaming and suddenly the MSI click BIOS 5 poped up! I have tried to exit the screen but nothing works. Pressing esc or the cross in the right hand corner would only restart the system to end up with the bios again. I have never experienced this and I don't know what to do. Can you please advise?
Many thanks!

Please start a new thread for your particular situation. This one is almost 3 years old.
Be as detailed as you can, and list all the parts involved.

Thanks.
