gtx 1080 low gpu usage power

Hi guys this is my setup

CPU:i7 6800k 3.6ghz
GPU:Zotac amp edition 1080 sli
Motherboard:x99a gaming pro carbon
PSU:1050 watt plat thermaltake
HDD:SEAGATE 1 TB HDD SATA III 64 MB 7200 rpm ST1000DM003
and ı got 250 gb ssd but ı cant remember the brand

so in overwatch and gta 5 ı got very low gpu usage for both card like %40-50
can anyone know solution for this?
Note: I dont have a gsync monitor

Are you playing GTA V and Overwatch with VSYNC on? that will limit your GPU usage, as it will only render at the refresh rate of your monitor.

I agree, it's likely a graphic setting in the game that needs to be adjusted.

No vsync is off and my monitor can play 144hz

1920x1080 in overwatch ı get 200fps but in gta 5 ı got 70 fps

Gtx 1080's weren't designed to be running at 1080p resolution. Especially two of them. If you want your gpu's to work harder you'll have to increase the resolution by purchasing a better monitor.

I don't understand why you would have 2 gtx1080's running at 1080p res, it's nonsense. You would have been better spending 1x 1080 and a 1440p monitor. Sorry I don't want to sound harsh but that would make more sense..... Enjoy anyway

If you were looking at task manager, you're seeing cpu usage of the whole processor not each individual core.
Did you check cpu utilization for each core?

I wouldn't suggest 4k, as your dual gtx 1080's will barely be able to sustain an average fps of 60. Unless you plan to upgrade your graphics cards with in the next 1-2 years, i'd stay with 1440p for longevity. I'm not your guy for "speccing" you out a monitor. However I wouldn't suggest going with anything smaller than a 27".
