Will 8GB DDR3 RAM work on my system ?

Here are my system specs -

Intel Core i3 540 3.06Ghz
Motherboard Name - DH55PJ
4GB DDR3 RAM
MSI Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti OC

I see a number of places its saying that I can't install a 8gb of ram alone, instead I will have to install a 2x4GB ram in order to make things work, but again there is some restrictions on what type of 4gb RAMs I may install on my system. Any advice would be really appreciated :)

I have already checked that but still I'm pretty much confused about which RAM to get, I think its not that easy, I see a lot of discussion about high density and low density and its all so much confusing for me, so any help would be appreciated.
