I just bought a Corsair Hydro Series H60 for my new Ryzen 1700x. This will be my first non stock CPU cooler. Thinking that it didn't have any thermal paste preinstalled I went ahead and ordered some. To my surprise it has a square already applied much like stock coolers. Should I go ahead and install it with the paste that comes from the factory or should I clean it off and use the paste that I bought for it(Arctic MX-2)?
. I just wanted to get any questions I have out of the way before I complete my first monster gaming PC build. Before I just built low end systems that would get me by. I want to take advantage of the 1700x XFR auto overclock feature so I wanted the best cooling I could afford.
