So i build a system like 50 days ago:
MSI A PRO 170z
i7 6700k + enermaxII 120 watercooler
2x8gb 2400mhz gskill ddr4
PS is corsair vs650 plus
grafic card is gigabyte 1070gtx windforce
Everything works good, by default the motherboard uses [auto] in voltage and i noticed when stressed the cpu reach 1,4v wich is stupid, and ever since i manualy set it to 1.20v.
My problem is that the cpu works at 3996-4004 ghz and in order to make it work properly 800-4200 i have to enter bios, look at the settings and just exit bios whidout doing anything, after when boots windows it works as normal 800-4200,
I did look at the windows energy settings wich are set to high performance, and in bios the turboboost is enabled,
Can you guys tell me why I have to enter bios everytime i boot the pc in order for the CPU to work properly 800-4200? thanks
