Thanks for the reply however i did lose patience with this product and i have sent it back for a refund.
Just to cover what i tried though ...
I tried the other pcie slots, no good, yes the old card works perfectly, the power supply is a corsair rm750, i double and triple checked all connections inside the case incase of human interference causing a loose connection..
There is no display from any display ports on the card or on the motherboard when the card is plugged in, i had updated all of my drivers for the system and i updated the motherboard bios, then after that did not work i took the card out and rolled back the bios to its original bios just incase that worked, i also tried multiple settings in the bios without the card plugged in as thats the only way i could see anything on my display.
The windows system was loading up when the card was plugged in.. how do i know? because of the sound it makes when it comes to the log on screen and because the q code on my board said everything was fine.
