Printer Screen Backlight not working!

Hi i own a Canon MG4250 And the display it has is not lighting up! You can see what its showing if you shine a phone against it in the dark however the backlight is not coming on! Any suggestions on what may be wrong?


Thank you please get back as i use this for my homework every other day!

What happens when a flashlight doesn't light? A burnt bulb! that's my guess, or in this case even simpler, the cable that attaches to the "bulb" became loose. I hope you were not looking for something magical, like "just hit this button."
