Title says it all. How much would you buy it for?

FX - 6300 | ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0 | CM K380 CHASSIS |ASUS HD7970-DC2T-3GD5 | 2X4 GB CV 2400 MHZ RAM | CORSAIR VS550 PSU | SB 1TB | I-BALL SPARKLE 22".

Solution
You get a max $250* estimate, that's generous.
Post his laptop specs, laptops are more expensive generally, as they are prebuilt and packed into a tiny space as well as being in higher demand for general workstation/email use.

Are you serious?!! It's got an HD 7970 with an overclock able CPU with an hyper 212 evo! Also all the warranty is still there Its about 2 years old.

I was hoping to get it to 500$ at least.

The FX 6300 is obsolete, it doesn't perform all that great even with an overclock and it is about to be superseded by AMD's new Ryzen CPUs. The HD 7970 is five years old now, back then it was high end, these days it's closer to an entry level gaming GPU in terms of performance. You're not getting $500 for it, you can build a better performing system for the same money using new components.

Yes i'm serious, the CPU is very poor, because it is overclockable doesn't mean it has good performance, this Pentium G4560 will trash the FX 6300 in terms of performance, and i've also included a 1060 which beats the HD 7970 by a mile.
This build performs about 40% better overall for a little more, and it is new, not used.
In addition the components are much higher quality as opposed to your iball and low quality components.

This is exactly what happens when you buy a prebuilt system from a store that is set up ready to run out of the box.

Though it`s hard to believe 4cloud you probably payed over the odds for the system to start off with if you did buy it from a store prebuilt and RTR.

Sadly it often leads people who bought the system that it is worth far more than the physical components used in it.

The CPU and GPU are quite dated at this point and computers do not hold their value. Never have and never will. That monitor is also a bit small. Now I think 250 is probably low balling it a bit but I also do not see you being able to get "at least" 500 from that system either.

CM HAF 912 $60 | FX 6300 $90 | Hyper 212 Evo $31 | Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 $50 | Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 DRAM 2400MHz $68 | Corsair CX600 $67 | AMD RX470 $170 | WD Blue 1TB $50 | Sceptre E225W E225W-1920 22.0" $80

So there I just built a system off of Amazon parts (new not used) that equals or exceeds the performance of your system for $666. You might want to re-consider your expectations of that system's worth.

LOL nevermind Chugalug beat me by a country mile. :)
