I had Q-Fan all set up and was very happy with my systems cooling, however, recently i upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and it appears to override my Q-Fan settings and crack all the fan speeds way up. I have tried making adjustment in the Bios but as soon as Windows loads those adjustments are overridden. I updated my Bios yesterday to the latest version but resulted in no improvement.

I'd prefer not to install AI Suite but i don't know what else i can do. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Are you running the latest chipset drivers from Asus web site?

Windows should use the bios settings for the fans, the only way I could see it over ride them is if you did have AI suite installed (and i don't recommend it). Did you install any other Asus software?
