Hey all! I got enough money for a new GPU, and I'm finally ready to upgrade. I prefer AMD, so I'm going with the RX 480. I got a couple questions.

This is the GPU I'm getting: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202275&cm_re=rx_480-_-14-202-275-_-Product

I've watched a few vids, do you think this card can actually do Ultra at 1080p 60 FPS on most current games?

Also, I currently have an R9 270 Sapphire card right now and really like it, does this Sapphire card seem like a good choice? Currently it's pretty cheap for an 8GB version.

Let me know if I should pull the trigger :D

Yes, this is the only upgrade I've been needing. I'm slowly but surly getting a higher end pc haha. I guess I'm going with this one!

I could get the MSI one as well, i'd have to see if it fits in my case.

Yes, it will give you the performance you are looking for. I'm a fan of Sapphire but from what I've read, the RX 400 series models aren't the best. I would look at MSI or XFX according to reviews. I will say that the RX 480 as a GPU is a great option for what you're wanting. It has an excellent price to performance ratio. ;)

Awesome :D I'm looking at MSI ones now, does this seem good? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137048&cm_re=msi_rx_480-_-14-137-048-_-Product

I really would like an 8GB just for future proofing.

Yea, that one isn't too bad. The MSI Gaming X would be my preference but the Armor is alright. It's a bit cheaper made.
